Our network exists to support Iranian students in the diaspora while building meaningful connections among those who wish to contribute to their success and well-being.

Membership Availability
Membership to Peshutan Organization does not remain open continuously throughout the year. Instead, the organization opens membership during specific enrollment periods.
When membership registration becomes available, an announcement and application information will appear directly on this page. If there is an active enrollment window, you will see instructions here on how to apply or join.

Who Can Join
Peshutan membership is designed to support a broad network connected to Iranian students abroad.
Students
Students currently studying at colleges or universities—particularly in the United States and Canada—form the core of the organization. Students may also participate in forming or joining local chapters at their institutions.
Alumni
Graduates remain an important part of the Peshutan community. Alumni contribute experience, mentorship, and guidance to current students while continuing to benefit from the professional and cultural network of the organization.
Supporters
Supporters include professionals, community members, and organizations that believe in the mission of empowering Iranian students and strengthening the global Iranian diaspora.
What Members Gain Access To
Peshutan works to provide practical support structures for students and members of the diaspora. Services and resources may include:

Starting a Chapter
Peshutan operates through local chapters at educational institutions. Establishing a chapter is designed to be simple and accessible.
A new chapter may be formed with a minimum of two students at a college or university. This structure allows the organization to grow organically while ensuring students can build community even on campuses with smaller Iranian populations.
A Community for the Diaspora
Peshutan was created for individuals who wish to maintain a meaningful connection to Iranian culture while building successful lives in the countries where they live, study, or work. The organization believes that embracing one’s cultural heritage and feeling at home in a new society are not conflicting goals.
By bringing together students, alumni, and supporters, Peshutan aims to strengthen the long-term unity and resilience of Iranian-descended communities across borders.

Peshutan Organization is an independent nonprofit entity. The organization maintains a politically neutral and non-religious position, allowing it to serve the diverse backgrounds and perspectives found within the global Iranian diaspora.
